Ingredients

1 egg, beaten
1/2 – 3/4 cup milk
Enough soft bread pieces to soak up egg and milk
1 lb ground beef
1/4 lb of pork sausage
2 teaspoons of seasonsed salt
2 teaspoons of pepper
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/2 small onion, chopped

Why I Love This Recipe

This recipe was passed down in my family for decades. My Grandmother made these meatballs every family gathering, and they were always my favorite.

Ingredients

1 egg, beaten
1/2 – 3/4 cup milk
Enough soft bread pieces to soak up egg and milk
1 lb ground beef
1/4 lb of pork sausage
2 teaspoons of seasonsed salt
2 teaspoons of pepper
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
1/2 small onion, chopped

Directions

1. Mix ingredients together and form small balls.

2. Brown meatballs in a large skillet, set aside.

3. Stir 1 tablespooon of flour into skillet.

4. Add 1 can of beef broth, whisking until it becomes a gravy. Pour over cooked meatballs.
