Happiness vs. Joy – is there even a difference?
While there are many perspectives (like most things 😉), current research points to joy as an inner feeling. Happiness is an outward expression. Even though we may seek it, desire it, pursue it, etc., feeling happiness is not a choice we make. Joy, on the other hand, is a choice we purposefully make, which has been shown to be a game changer for various health and well-being outcomes.
