COVID-19 Case Study
YOU at College is supporting over 100 campuses by connecting students with essential mental health and well-being resources while learning in place.
Current, relevant, and evidence-based
From the moment COVID-19 began impacting the everyday lives of students, our team has been hyper-focused on one thing: pivoting to support students amongst countless changes to their higher education journey. As an online platform, we immediately began creating and sourcing evidence-based/supported resources to help students navigate the transition. With traditional programming and outreach inaccessible to students, we have re-imagined our digital marketing tactics, arming administrators with turnkey and relevant assets that drive students to keep their well-being top of mind. The results: 73% of all content views focusing on COVID-19 content and an over 150% increase in YOU at College traffic amongst institutions highlighting YOU as part of their response.
COVID-19 has impacted students in every aspect of their college experience, from academics and financial stability to physical/mental health and social connections. As a comprehensive platform, YOU is uniquely positioned to address these challenges and rapidly added 40+ pieces of content, including campus supports, that specifically speak to transitions and hurdles that students have never faced before.
Proactive and scalable engagement
Traditional marketing tactics on campus typically include posters, in-class presentations, and booths run by passionate students. As an organization focused on scalable mental health and well-being promotion, we were a step ahead in supporting students as quickly and efficiently as possible — allowing campus administrators to focus on immediate student needs.
Tactics like new social media assets, campus-wide emails, link guides and resource-based newsletters helped campuses to acknowledge the hardships that come with this time of change, while also giving students an empowering call to action: take care of YOU.
Recurring weekly training webinars allowed campus partners to extend flexibility and learning opportunities to their entire staff and faculty without lifting a finger, underlining our long-held philosophy that campus well-being is everyone’s responsibility.
