Eric believes everyone in this world deserves a chance to find their passion and purpose in life, and he thrives in being a conduit for others to do just that. This belief was shaped at a young age, and Eric has been following his passion since. Eric’s professional life has had many twists and turns, be it serving in the Army, protecting parks as a park ranger, or working as a debt counselor for veterans in need. However, one constant has held true: a passion for suicide prevention. This is most evident in his last stop before Grit when he served as a veteran suicide prevention coordinator. Eric’s grit is displayed in his role growing behavioral health and suicide prevention impact nationwide by helping to get the life-saving tools in the hands of those who need them most.
