Norm Shearer is a creative innovator. He is the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer (CCO) at Grit Digital Health and CCO/partner at Cactus, a national advertising and branding agency. With his innovative spirit, Norm helps fuel Grit’s mission making mental health and well-being more accessible, de-stigmatized, and more affordable. Norm led the creative direction and team in conceptualizing Man Therapy in 2012, the world’s first and largest mental health platform designed for men. Since, Norm has helped Man Therapy grow to global distribution and success. In 2022, Man Therapy was heralded by the CDC in a $1.2M research study for its efficacy, directly attributed to its creative approach. Today, Grit Digital Health boasts numerous innovative software solutions for priority populations such as veterans, first responders, and students. Norm’s wife, Dawn, is no doubt a cornerstone in Norm’s inspiration as an Licensed Professional Counselor and fellow entrepreneur who co-founded The Positive Project in 2000, a behavior resource tool and interactive database of people with HIV/AIDS and their testimonials. Norm’s journey began at the prestigious Art Center College of Design, where he honed his design-strategy skills and nurtured his talents for creating meaningful and impactful experiences to drive healthy behavior change.
