Survey Objectives
Our team believes that student feedback is integral to creating effective solutions that help them thrive. The aim of this survey was to learn more about the unique challenges currently facing college students, as well as the success of recent YOU platform enhancements in driving well-being and success for students across our campus partner network.
Comprehensive Student Support
Key student outcomes for the YOU platform include learning new skills for success, providing checkpoints for mental health and well-being, connecting with campus resources, identifying growth and priority areas, defining academic and career goals, getting advice to support well-being, as well as accessing content relevant to individual identities. Students in our spring survey overwhelmingly endorsed experiencing at least one of these target outcomes.
Driving Behavior Change
Throughout 2021-2022, our team implemented a number of student-researched and co-designed innovations to the YOU platform designed to spur actionable behavior change. Our spring survey showed 70% of students saying they learned helpful skills and tips through YOU, with 87% of those students reporting implementing those skills into their daily life to improve their well-being.
Increasing Campus Connection
The YOU platform reflects the look, feel, and resources of an institution, allowing campuses to integrate well-being into the fabric of their culture. Our survey showed 71% of students agreeing that YOU increased their awareness of campus resources, with 80% of those students taking action by exploring those resources or sharing them with their peers.
